As the home to Sunraysia, you know that you will be spoilt with an array of beautiful fruit, vegetables, and homemade items when visiting Mildura. We are a rural city that has been blessed with some of Australia’s best locally grown and reared food, which we use in The Gateway family restaurant and functions room. You can be guaranteed that we source only the very best for our restaurant, and this can be part of your every day when you discover what our town has on offer at our town fairs.
Sunraysia Mildura Farmers Market
Perhaps our most well-known and busiest, you don’t have to look far to experience the best products and locally made goods. Guests and residents are quick to get their purchases early on the first and third Saturday of the month. As you browse, you will get to experience homemade cheeses and yoghurts, natural body and beauty pieces, handmade bread, the sweetness of honey and an array of beautifully grown fruit and vegetables, which are just a small snippet of what’s on offer.
Run by volunteers, it’s highly seasonable rotation means that not every stallholder is there every time, but you are never without access to variety. They actively promote and support the community’s farmers and have crafts, children’s activities, cooking demonstrations, and live entertainment.
