Fondly referred to by many as ‘their local’ the Gateway Sports Bar-Bistro is a great meeting place to relax and unwind with friends. It’s where the beer is cold, the food is tasty and the atmosphere friendly. The Sports bar – Bistro menu is available all day for lunch and dinner between 11am and 9pm.

When it comes to watching sport with a group of mates, there is no better place. With multiple screens, including a massive 105 inch big screen for up-to-date information from Fox Sports, giddy up racing and free to air channels, along with the latest results and dividends from Sky Racing, this is as close as you get to the real thing. With an outdoor designated smoking area with heating and mist cooling, you are sure to be comfortable all year round.

Given the period through to November remains unchanged regarding capped numbers within the venue. We have decided to bring forward some of the internal redevelopment works, so not to inconvenience our valued customers early next year. You will avoid the current demolition, dust, dirt, noise in order to build YOUR NEW GATEWAY!

The Bistro and Sportsbar areas will be closed until further notice or if any Victorian Government changes are announced with easing of restrictions and increases in capped numbers.

Latest Gateway News as of 21/0/21: Your New Cellarbration Drive Thru Bottleshop remains as per normal hours for your convenience.

The Gold Room reopens at 8.00am tomorrow morning (22/10/21) as per normal hours.

Gold Room entry requires the following:

– Double vaccination and proof of vaccination status (no proof, no entry)

– 30 person max and must be 1.5M apart

– Masks must be worn

Your Family Bistro & Sports Bar areas will not be reopening tomorrow (22/10/21) as we are still working on redevelopment construction which include new bathrooms and other facilities to further improve your customer experience upon completion. Stay tuned for further exciting announcements
